I don't have this version yet, but I love the template changes you describe. Very intuitive. So much so that I wonder why templates as simply designated notes wasn't the original approach.
Is there a way to select a template only from the templates in the notebook you are in? Not having to wade through a bunch of unrelated templates would be nice.
Yes, I'm waiting for the feature to roll out to my desktop. V10.123.6 is sitting there waiting for this.
I note that my mobile version updated to v123.1 today and it's release notes refer to the Templates roll out, so should be on both devices when it arrives?
So, I was updated to v10.123.8 on my desktop this morning, and this afternoon after restarting my PC, EN now has the Templates feature in the sidebar! 👍
Just checked my Android phone and the mobile version (10.123.1) has the Templates feature under the three-dot More button in the bottom menu. 👍
Looks good. Pity I had to edit a couple of my legavy templates at the beginning of the week before this rolled out, but I can see it being quite useful in the future with its improved functionality/usability.

There isn't but you can pin a template note to the top of a notebook if that helps at all.

I think(?) its account based so you should be able to see templates on all devices. I can pick them up on my phone.

That version will do. Its rolling out so I would imagine everyone will have it by the weekend.

Do Header, H1, H2, H3 colors and styling follow through??
They do. Not found anything that doesn't work. A template is now pretty much the same as a note.

That the one major friction left for me using my daily notes.
Every day, every new note, I have to reset my headers. I like using colors for my headers, makes things much clearer for me.

Hi Jon, well templates dropped in here today.
Headers come through and Tags work, but sadly, colors assigned to headers do not follow.
Nor does the notebook.

Yes I am.
Color default back to "Auto" on the new note using the template.

Every since they've introduced headers, I've been mentioning, everywhere I can, how nice it would be to have custom global settings.
