Quick note. No video AMA this week and maybe for the next few weeks as I'm travelling for work (and play) a lot, I try to make the most of the Summer. I'm getting home and to hotels pretty late and catching 6am trains so there's not much space to record video but I can write anywhere.

I like using the "@" command but I really wish that Evernote didn't show the grayed-out text every time I go to a new line, “Press "/" to insert an element or "@" to add a linked note”. By now that is pretty obvious if you've been using it for a while. Is there any way to keep those commands active, but hide that constant 'tooltip'?
Yes, we can remove the little hint text that appears on each blank line that looks like this.
This is one of the first things I do after a fresh Evernote install on a PC or Mac.
Head to the three-dot menu at the top right of any note and look down the list for Slash commands
.
Select Hide inline hint
and the text should go away for every note.
If you don't use the '/' slash or '@' commands at all you can disable them in settings.
Head over to Settings -> Preferences -> Notes
and scroll down a bit.
Uncheck the boxes for '/' and/or '@' commands and they will be disabled.
Jack, I hope this helps.
Have you disabled these? Let me know in the comments.
Have a great rest of the week.
All the best
Jon
The @ command has been very annoying for me. I never knew I could disable it. I do use the slash / command all the time. Thank you!
