OK, so what we’re talking about is tabbed notes, very much how to have tabbed web pages in your browser. Each tab is a different note.

Tabs have a bit of a history with Evernote.

Back in 2020 when version 10 of Evernote came out tabs were removed and I kind of said, what tabs? I was on Windows.

Tabbed notes on the old Evernote app pre 2020 only worked for Macs so a lot of folk didn’t miss then at all but the Mac folk really did miss them. It’s been one of Evernote’s most requested features for a while now.

Tabs are going to give us the ability to open our notes in different tabs and go back and forth with them, much easier than fiddling around with notes in open windows.

Being able to refer to other notes really quickly when you’re working is a huge workflow and productivity increase.

I’m testing it now and this is what it looks like with four notes open.

As for when it’s coming out. Not too sure. It only landed in the beta version this week, so it may be a little while before it arrives in the wild, but I don’t think it will be too long.
