OK, so I think this is new! It’s not something I’ve seen before but I spotted a post on the Evernote forums the other day from bmcl26 saying that Grammarly was working within Evernote… so I’ve done some testing and ‘Oh My Days’ it works!
My speelling is not the best and my grammar ain’t proper so I use several checkers when I’m writing articles, social media posts, emails and just about everything else.
Not being able to check my spelling and grammar as I’m writing in Evernote has always been a bit of an issue for me to the point that I don’t use EN for writing articles or any public posts.
Well, now I can! Evernote is going to become the place I write.
A few technicals. I have the Grammarly Windows app installed and the spelling and grammar suggestion works a treat in the Evernote Windows app and the web app.
I don’t have a Mac so I can’t test. If you use Apple gear test it out and let me know in the comments.
I’ve also not tried things on mobile, but I would assume it works as Grammarly adds their own keyboard (on Android - not sure about iOS) and does the checking from there.
The Evernote forum thread asking for Grammarly integration dates back to 2017 so this is something that folks have wanted for a while but to be fair to Evernote it was not really their feature to add.
Now it seems Grammarly has integrated their app into EN and it’s working a treat. This is going to make folks more productive!
Try it out, and let me know how you get on.
Have a great weekend.
All the best,
Jon
I can confirm does not work on Mac either... tho i thought it did so I'm confused if an update killed it?
how do we work on this ? add any plug in? I can not find any related plug in on Evernote..
