I still use Scannable to capture receipts, bills, documents into Evernote. I find the quality and editing options, including the ease to crop before accepting the image to save, are perfect. Do you use Scannable or purely the Evernote app?
I use Scannable. Like you I find the quality and editing much better. I can also auto-tag the scans. Only iOS… the Android folk would love it.
