Did not know about pasting a note from another app, which I do all the time. This will be a big time saver. Also, web/link shortcuts. Really appreciate you sharing your expertise. I seem to learn something new with many of the videos and the housekeeping newsletters.

I was aware of the Sync Folders feature, but didn't realise you could sync multiple features. I'll have to investigate that a bit.

I've been using the web link/shortcut trick more often of late.

Still prefer to start on the Home page with the Calendae and my tasks for today, etc.

Pasting into a new note frim any other app - - that's something I wasn't really aware of! Neat!!! I think I was experiencing it unknowingly as I found idd notes in my default folder after taking screen clips on occasion and pasting them elsewhere - now I see what can be done.

I've definitely made use of having different list views for some botebooks.

A good royndup of tips to end the week! Thanks!!

I'm amazed I'm still learning about useful features. In this case, sending notes to Evernote from other apps so easily. With fast syncing today, I can immediately jump to the new note and add citation info when I need it and then jump right back to the other app. My first use of it was copying this item from your newsletter into Evernote!

I don't use the scratchpad feature because I can't think why I would. I would love to hear someday how to make good use of scratchpads. What do people put there rather than in a new note?

The instant sync is great. I worked on a few notes with other folk and its been useful.

I use the scratchpad on my phone to hold some door codes I need and my mobile phone numbers as I can never remember them!

I also use one on desktop as a kind of clipboard why i copy and paste bits and then remove them... not all the time as its not always open.

Thanks Jon - the "Create a web link instantly with a shortcut" is pretty slick!

Yep...I'm a keyboard-shortcut kind of guy so I was already highlighting the text in the note, hitting CTRL+K and then CTRL+V to paste, but this saves a step every single time (and I do a ton of hotlinking in my notes!)
