The ability to use tags on tasks would obviate the need for priority and flags, as well as adding virtually any classification scheme one may desire.

By the way, what's going on with EN updates? I've grown accustomed to mid-week nuggets of feature upgrades from EN.

True. Not sure they would remove them but tags would let us customise our statuses.

A number of staff were away last week so they decided not to release... should be back to many updates now!

I think I'd like to see the ability to add tags to tasks. While I occasionally use the description field on tasks, it does mean that the individual task takes up more space vertically in the Tasks display list. I use a few emojis to highlight some tasks.

Nice idea adding hashtags into the description field.

I've taken a different approach which is in line with how I have been using roughly 15 four-letter acronyms for key areas in my life like i.e. FOOD for recipes, MONY for insurance, banking, KIDS for my children etc.. and I want everything to be visibly discerned instantly using these acronyms. I use them starting every Note and Notebook title and I double this with tags as well. I also start any task with the related acronym. This helps not only when scanning the interface sections but is very lovely using the search functionality in EN, on which I rely a lot as well.

Btw It took me a while to get the hang of the relationship between tasks and notes which you perfectly explained. I do use a default catchall task note, but more and more I add tasks to specific notes so you immediately have the context of the task and can include a breakdown list for this task with checkboxes. Which helps to prevent cluttering the task list and avoids not coming back to a daunting task list all together ;-)

I like it. 15 acronyms is not too many to remember either which must help a lot.

Tasks took me a while to get used toand I'm not sure I could go back to a normal task manager now.
