I have found an easy way to "clip" AI search results (when I want to keep them).

Most of the time (not always) there are four icons below the results.

Click on the COPY icon, then PASTE into a new note.

This "clip" will also pull the footnotes (LINKS!) and a video if it was included.

I try to remember to put "AI Google results YYYYMMDD" up top.

You will need to add your own title.

Wicked easy!

Thanks. That's such a cool idea and I didn't know about the copy icon. Will try this out later.

I am a bit reluctant to have all my notes to be up for grabs for any AI tool. It has a lot of private information for which I want to control who or what has access. This is the reason I dont use the currently integrated AI search feature which has it’s own terms and conditions. I do use the transcribe feature and similar tools often, but these are one offs where I can consider what I am willing to share.

Yup. I'm pretty sure its going to be an opt-in type of thing similar to how the AI features already work as in if you don't use it nothing gets sent to a 3rd party.

I know privacy has been a huge part of what they're planning so just need to wait and see.

I'm afraid I'm definitely not a fan of the recent tweaks to the UI. It's no longer clear in the sidebar which tags are parent tags with sub tags underneath them. You have to hover over the tag to reveal the expand arrow.

The changes in the notebooks and tags views means that the menu bars disappear when you scroll down. So if you want to filter the list, for example, you first have to scroll back up to the top (or Home sometimes works).

Yup. Both of these have been mentioned. I mentioned the nested tag issue and one of the developers got back to me with a solution and they've said its done so hopefully live in the next update or two. The solution I saw was a different type of tag icon to signify the top of a nest, a little like how a stack icon is different to a notebook. It'll be interesting to see what it looks like.
