I'm glad we were able to clean the subreddit up and make it a productive place for the community. I'm also thrilled that we're seeing more interaction from Bending Spoons on there. Actually, a major issue before we took it over was they wanted to use an account called Evernote-Official, but they weren't able to because there's a rule on the subreddit that prevents accounts with low karma or post history from being able to post (to prevent spam). So they were using what looked like just someone's personal account for a while, which was a little confusing. But since we got in there, we were able to create an exception for their account that basically right when we first started. This allowed them the ability to interact from a more official stance and definitely helped instill user confidence that they were really talking to someone from Evernote. We also gave them a flair which helps too since it confirms to the community that they're indeed Evernote. Little quality of life things, like that, I think made a big difference.
I’m so glad the Evernote subreddit is back up and running properly. I moved away from it ages ago because it seemed full of Evernote-bashing and unhelpful. A quick glance after I listened to this interview and it already looks refreshing.
A great interview, thanks for that. I’m not a big contributor to Evernote’s community channels. I’m never quite sure whether the official forum, discord, or Reddit is the place to be. Perhaps I’ll try and check in on Reddit some more and see if that sticks.

Its a different world now.

Best place to be is here 😂 Nah... Reddit and the forums are both much better these days.
