A huge thank you to Ron who became a paid subscriber over the last week and many thanks to those who bought me a coffee. Taming the Trunk is 100% reader supported, no ads or commission links and your support is really appreciated.
It's like BS are on a 00's nostalgia trip and buying up all those names that have mostly disappeared since. Still holding out for the Flickr acquisition.
My friend had the Series 5, I had the cheaper Revo which was pretty good too. Also had a Palm III when I worked in London. I remember reading Sherlock Holmes on it whilst sitting on the Underground as you could get the free eBook downloads. I wish I'd kept a few of the old devices, or at least taken some photos.
To add to the conversation on Evernote Home. Here's a keyboard shortcut that gets you back to Home regardless of where you are in Evernote: CTRL + ALT + 1.
(CTRL + ALT + any of the other numbers also take you to specific things in Evernote. The two I use are 1 and 7.)

Yup. Flickr could do with being reinvented. I'd love to see all the old Blackberry software like mail, calendar and tasks bought and transformed.
How about they reinvent a Psion series 5 that has a native Evernote app? I'd be very happy with that! :-)
Ha! I think I had one of those... also remember buying one of the Palm Pilot's.
