What can you do with an Evernote Transcript?

Evernote transcripts are not just a wall of text. They become really useful when you start working with the AI Assistant and asking questions.

I’ve spoken a fair bit about how recording and transcribing a meeting or call is just the beginning. The magic happens when you start working with the video.

In this weeks short mid-week video, I look at what you can do with an Evernote transcript once it has been created.

  • Regenerate the transcript with speaker labels

  • Rename each speaker throughout the conversation

  • Transcribe a specific time range instead of the whole recording

  • Change the transcription language

  • Rename, download or edit the original audio or video

  • Run saved AI Prompts against the transcript

  • Create summaries in your preferred format

  • Pull out action points or create social media posts

  • Ask the AI Assistant questions about what each person said

  • Collapse a long transcript when you do not need it on screen

In the demo, I used a copy of the most recent interview I did with fellow Evernote Certified Expert Stacey Harmon. If you have time, give it a listen.

I also mention the AI Prompt library a few times, check out the deep dive if you get chance.

Let me know how you use the transcripts in the comments.

Have a great rest of the week

All the best

Jon
